In bits of panic...
When the time
in bits of panic
grabs and turns
me into night
all I wish
and all I hope for
sinks away
into the deep...
The point - the purpose
loses reason
loses lightness
loses lift
and leaves me lonely
in the blackness
with no reaching
straight ahead...
Then when children
ripple laughter
splash a smile
and lisp a line
suddenly
the heavy hollows
flickers - fractures
for awhile...
