~*~Our Life Pebble~*~
Like a pebble thrown into water is all it takes
In life our own actions a ripple effect we'll make
Everything we say has a cause and effect too
Whether good or bad daily we birth something new
What does your life pebble say about you?
Other lives we daily affect by what we say and do
Are you quick to listen and slow to speak?
If others offend you do you turn the other cheek?
We shouldn't ever dwell on what others do to us
For no offense is greater than what was done to Jesus
The cross was His love showed on that day
For us to walk in love is the only way to repay
For it is written love covers a multitude of sin
It is only by our love that others know we're His children
It is written by our words we'll be justified or condemned
Is your life pebble bringing glory to Him?
At the end of the day do you take inventory?
Did your words or actions bring God glory?
If your life was ended what would others say?
Will you be leaving an honorable legacy?
Nobody is perfect but we could all do better
God's love will grow in us by reading His love letter
His love and direction is in the Holy Bible
To guide and direct our own life pebble
