Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 Prescription His
I am not Afraid Pictures, Images and Photos

Though we wither with fever high
We press forward against the lies
That strike a soul not of this world
Against the odds, against us tolls

My voice though hoarse will call again
To Him we love and time we spend
A body weak seeking relief
The Truth now found that many seek

Invisible to naked eye
Is He our heart convinced with sighs
Makes all things new including me
Though lost was once my destiny

This body frail is just a shell
To walk this Earth if for a spell
To bring the news and speak His truth
To end this drought of all uncouth

Though lost are many with heavy hearts
Today I'll rise to tear apart
Facade their thoughts, He does not care
Searching each soul and heart they bare

Deep is He awaking you
Like me this day who brings us through
The LORD of all, that reigns above
The GOD ignored some not think of

Heal He will what tears each one
Rebuild He will today someone
To grant them strength as He has done
That He has claimed, beloved son
