One Rose Short of a Dozen
September 29, 2008
Romance/sensual
Aqua eyes look into luminous blue
With a longing for the fourth of seven
She awakens to travel to noble heights
When she spreads her wings2fly2heaven
The trumpet sounds ~ so like her hair
She sings for his gold chain to unfold
And every link reveals a calling for her
Responsive feelings turn liquid gold
Virtuous is her present and past
And there'll be no redemption of sin
As she fly's to the trust of his embrace
He takes her to places she's never been
Now wrapped around a scene in thought
'Twas kamikaze kaleidoscope snow
Her breasts greet the frosty night sky
As flakes expire as her warm-waters flow
Both their passions search for loyal desire
Anchored in truth two lover's shall find
Their gift becomes 'one rose short of a dozen'
Representing their affinities combined
They entered this world with silky boundaries
While aching for a new hope still unknown
And heed the crying-goodbye's command
That 'like-minds' can't walk life alone
With all the time in the world… they depart
Finally the last rose is presented
Then ‘the one' single kiss-o- faith flower
Becomes the bandage for love so tormented
