The rich get richer poor cast aside
Politicians sell their souls
Surely wealthy don't worry about tomorrow
Nor do they partake in worldly sorrow
Wars are fought for imbecilic reasoning
For your thoughts are wrong and mine are right
And who but the impoverished take up my fight
I proclaim all who disagree an enemy of state
But friends wake up before it is too late
Because this is how the Roman empire met it's end
It is happening again as this warning I send
The wealthy sit in mansions raising taxes
As the politician makes images in waxes
No one today it seems is understand fact-es
Who will pay for all these blessings given away
Surely not the rich or politicians as they play
