Living by the Word
O Lord remember me,
Mold me as I should be;
For I am only clay,
Form me so I obey.
Do not take me away,
Forgive me that I stray;
For I hold so much grief,
Because of my belief.
Since your words have been found,
They have a joyous sound;
So I want to proclaim,
Your everlasting name.
Your words are a delight,
To my heart in feeling right;
And can never feel shame,
Wanting to call Your name.
Please listen to my plea,
Those who persecute me;
And take revenge on them,
Send someplace to condemn.
So this is all I ask,
Helping me with this task;
Rid me who done me wrong,
So it does not prolong.
