Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson

The Joy of Spring

Spring's warm soft breeze curls through
the lovely budding cherry trees,
spreading the sweet scent of spring
over the waking land.
Squirrels and rabbits scurry about
while butterflies flit across the freshly
planted gardens as the warm breath
of spring awakens man's sleeping senses.
Once again the children joyously play
upon the monkey bars and swings,
and roll in the fresh green grass
of the park as mothers watch.
Oh what a wonder it is to partake
of the bright sunshine of a spring day.
