 Peace In the Valley
There is peace in the fertile valley of life
even though death is knocking at our door.
The mundane trials of life in this old world
shall be washed away and replaced by glorious purpose.
Our weary bones shall at last find the comfort
of restful peace in His loving arms.
We shall walk the golden paths of joy beside
the still waters of the crystal sea, and
rejoice in the warmth of never ending sunshine.
Hymns of praise and joy will burst forth from
the depths of our hearts and our souls shall know
no suffering for we shall live forever in glory,
and know the sweetness of peace in His fertile valley.
Donavon Scott Vinson

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever:
for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength." Iaiah 25:3,4
