Rainbows and snow cones
Intrude the blackened skies
The city I call home
Rain falls day and night
Yet I do not roam
Snow fed streams
Thunder invades my dreams
In the city I call home
Falling in a shadowed mist
For it is spring I miss
The wind roars knocks down trees
In the city I call home
Then one day the sun comes out
Spreads warmth all about
As the seasons come and go
In the city I call home
MT Rainier peaks from above
And I know why I love
The emerald city beckons me
The city I call home
Forgive me I found an old college notebook
Early attempts in days gone by but memories
