Wrapped Around the Moon (wings2fly 1/16/2010)
This is a repost.
Originally written last year, though I don't know the exact date.

Wrapped Around the Moon

Celestial cradle be night sky
Suspending light in tired eyes
Wakened hours retreat inside
Holding heart knows moon is nigh
A dark cloud becomes soft bed
As arms are holding sleepless head
Wisping fingers calm golden hair
Nightlight's wail in darkened lair
Beauty black fair sequins sown
Falling stars my guiding home
Sweet release arriving soon
Dreams be held by pleasing moon
Glancing be through sparkled glass
Dark cloud moves and changes fast
Sight believed in faith be told
Light of life here to unfold
Wrapped around the moon tonight
Emotional care in chaotic night
My dark cloud comes hold me fast
His saving grace, I'm loved at last
