So sweet was the rose
My heart had chose
I had to run before the shop would close
So late i just made it before the neighbour did the hose
So i went home nice and dry, my mommy adored the rose
The things surrounding it, green and frightening, well she didn't like those
So she got the hoe, the dinner guests coming in adored the rose
They sat at the table fidgeting their toes
"So where is this place Rose,"
"down the road, go just before its time to close"
"why is that Rose"
"just do it Mr Boas."
Never did he take that advice, went to early and didn't miss the hose
Nor was he very pleased i didn't warn him, but it was kinda funny seeing a wet Mr Boas
