If You See Some Good In MePlease don't put me on a pedestal Because I'll probably fall off. There's nothing perfect about me But I can point you to The Cross. Perfection let Himself be nailed In the midst of those three stakes. He did it to remove our sins... To pay for each of our mistakes. So, should you see some good in me, It's because He lives within... And everything I say or do Should reflect right back to Him. It isn't me who heals one's hurt. I've done nothing to be praised. I'm just a vessel He will use. I, too, stand so amazed! To say that He is marvelous Would be putting it too mild. Which words would be strong enough? What description could be filed? There is simply no comparison... No earthly language to come close To paint the perfect picture Of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. But if I were to choose a word, It would definately be LOVE. So if you see some good in me, It's been transfered from above. Lovingly In Christ, Doris Jacobs-Covington January 15, 2010 "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God; that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.: 1Corinthians 1:30-31 "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? TO ACT JUSTLY AND TO LOVE MERCY AND TO WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD. Micah 6:8 "The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down." Psalm 145:15 "God is not unjust, He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them."
