I try to be always prepared
Exercising common sense as I can.
I don't know the hour or the day,
But anything can be, close at hand.
Life,can be review,but,we can't edit it,
And it's not right to take always credit,
For everything that we have or haven't done;
As the years sift through, and like sand make us frown.
Because sometimes all of sudden, we spot our own boat,
Drifting by,in not such tranquil waters, as we try to stay afloat;
And we ask ourselves sometimes,where all the years did go,
As we watch our own sunset sinking, in the distance growing smaller and low.
Trying so hard I hang on tight as I peer, at all this show,
As I stand, and say thanks to God,for all He gives and lets me know.
