Unknown her needs are more than I
Can heal or give to dry her eyes
But with these words we hope to comfort
Bringing a pause, to soul greatly hurt
There is disease that's come to claim
Mother, quite ill, heartache sustained
This time, maybe hour that ticks away
My wishes for them, that GOD has his way
Daughter she birthed will reminisce
At bedside hers, once child she kissed
Of birthdays past so real their presence
Will fill the void in need now present
Her breath would feed once child in womb
Today it seems has come too soon
To say goodbye, for loved is she
Mother, best friend to dear Sandy
Tears may fall raining today
Upon pictures of yesterdays
But in it all GOD has been there
To hold their hands with loving care
Hard to explain when fall we do
Our bodies bare what we hold to
But life goes on and is sustained
Above the clouds that never rain
Poets will write and ask for wisdom
To comfort, to hold to, to always be with them
To give breath of life, to strengthen what ties
Daughter and one mother a heartfelt goodbye
