Valentine

How seeming affluence and  commerce combine
To change the face and meaning of Valentine
Merchants and their stockholders smile with glee
Another event  has been a success financially

Though I do not patronize
I see all my jewels and splendor in your eyes
Sapphire, opal and diamond so sparkling
Are not as reflective and luminous as one of them.

How much I truly enjoyed our little walk
Holding your soft hand  as we talk
Your soft sweet lips touching mine
These things are what I mean by Valentine

Saying things deep from within my heart
Seeing your fresh blushes as they start
Saying what's on my mind
Such  thoughts brings joy to Valentine

No expensive presents could not come near
Your are the worth, the one I hold so dear
Priceless, invaluable and Oh so kind
There is only you at Valentine.

A bouquet of red roses so brilliant
Is not as adorned a you so resplendent
Beautiful, elegant and  with such a majestic bearing
Beside you those roses look dull and wilting

By the fireplace as we sip our wine
Filling our glasses with champagne as our fingers entwine
I cast a look at your silhouette as the candle light flicker
That sight made my being quake and quiver.

Here I have you in the bathtub
Giving that  body a well deserve rub
I keep remembering this and every-time
With you everyday is a Valentine

What a picture of such a unique feminine beauty
A  figure the depicts God's  creativity and mastery
All framed in the panes of my mind
All  of you my captivating and mind-blowing Valentine.
