Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 Time Has Come
The pain subsides today it seems
Today is hers for now she dreams
Of better things she does deserve
Table for two He does reserve

A rose maybe a dozen red
Will be all hers for GOD has led
A friend, maybe a prince to slay
The thorns that kept true love away

We wish her well and pray he will
Respect the heart no longer still
For this fair maiden has payed with tears
That drowned a soul in Friend endeared

Though love is not the feel today
Maybe one day her friend will say
GOD placed and made our paths to cross
My heart has found what once was lost

You see her heart once stopped deceived
For love she thought she had conceived
But GOD would come and bring one new
To change and fill what she holds too

To you whose wish has now come true...
