In the spirit...
All here to worship
the ritual -the drill
arms stretched to heaven
the throw with a thrill...
Dressed for the service
devotion with dare
swinging and singing
and flinging with flare...
Filled with the spirit
together - all stand
heavenly waving
with worshipful hands...
Screen - reeling numbers
statistics - in lights
sacred and ordered
devotees - eyes bright...
Voices - with passion
chant loud and quick
capture the rapture
with flashes and clicks...
Communion - with pleasure
service - with smiles
sipping and splashing
each with their own style...
Pure - white and holy
hovers the dove
blessings from heaven
descend from above...
The souls in the circle
with power and ball
connect with precision
'cos cricket's their call...
