I lost you somewhere in time
But I feel you near me some days
I sense your love defying ages.
I know we wanted to stay together
But passing years had to part us.
I still hear your heart beating often
When all is quiet and I am alone.
In my dreams I bring you flowers,
In my mind I talk to you
And you answer me with gentle word
Voice like breezes rustling spring foliage,
Eyes so clear I see sunlight in them.
