where daises grow in an open field
where dandelions blow beautifully in the traveling wind
where grasshoppers feel safe, where city lovers come to escape
I watch caterpillars transform into butterflies
watch as the sun slowly kiss the sky
O the country is a beautiful place to be
so filled with God's nature such beautiful scenery
Take a walk down to the duck pond
and listen as they speak, sprinkling bread crumbs
at their feet.
The water sparkle like diamonds
and set your heart at peace
o how I love the country,
it's the right place for me
I watch closely as the brush of the
Almighty paint the night, with trillions
of sparkling stars and a silvery moonlight
Crickets chirping a song so free
night owls wooing high in a tree
as God almighty set his blessing over the country
