God is good...
Ripe fruit from a branch -
sweet luscious and free -
from a God with a bias
who looks over me....
Yes - I am so special -
more special than you -
go scrounge in the garbage
for something to chew...
He watches above
and then drops my gift -
my life - fills with plenty -
but leaves you to drift...
Yes - I am so special -
more special than you -
I shop for my clothes -
but you never get new...
Oh God is so good -
he loves me I know -
it's all in the book-
from a time - long ago...
The weather is fine -
I sleep warm and safe -
you hunger in storms -
at night - stay awake...
Yes - I am so special -
more special than you -
and God is so good -
with a bias or two....
Oh God is so good -
he keeps up my breath
and fills me with joy -
but for you - he gives death...
