Though neither of us are young of age
we still can be said to be young at heart,
even though we've both been widowed along the way
now we are together to make a new start--
today I look at you and my heart is very glad,
you've help me through the sad times--made me glad!

Evidently we have seen a power beyond our own
in bringing us together there is great evidence,
God was working on our behalf
having shown us His Providence--
that we need not be alone!
Life for us is present--and each day is dear,
I don't have any illusions of a "forever", no not here!
No guarenteed tomorrow-Today our Love must shine,
every day is precious to us
so glad that you are mine!
I am amazed at what God can do in our lives!
We stand together indebted to Him
rejoicing in this marvelous feat,
of uniting to needy souls together
thus to make both our lives so sweet--
ever thankful to Him we will be!
Fortunate are we for His Goodness and Grace
only by His great power working below the
radar, could we have come into this place!
Yes, we know our time is brief
only we trust in Lord to keep
us together in this life so sweet!
