I wanted to go to the cemetery, but
It's so dark outside, and the sounds cried out
Erratically from deep down within me
For the sun has gone down
And the gates were sealed, closed
For the night
Rows of tombstones shone
Luminously under the eerie glow
Of the unsleeping moon
As the trees clawed menacingly
With images of ratty skeletons
Hidden amongst the ruthless shadows,
And the ghosts laughed, waving good-bye
For the cemetery was closed,
For the night
