**His Shadow**
I looked upon him quite often
He gave me many a smile
For him with a gentle heart
I would walk that extra mile
Words that touch this soul
Bring joy to many a tear
I am blessed to know him
And its good to know hes here
A name without a face is he
Yet i feel i know him so well
His words reach my inner self
Much inner that i can tell
I often pass by his window
Take a little look inside
Read the work he as written
That's written well with pride
Hes a man of many a missions
Yet with words hes such a love
Blessed is he i know not where
By the stars that shine above
He don't know how much i value
Every line of ink he writes
But he knows i am always here
From dusk until daylight
I have a need to speak his name
But its a secret here in my heart
I pray the Father in heaven
I am his shadow no one can part.
