"Sometimes"

No matter what we do
We cannot change a view.
No matter what we say
We cannot change a way.......

There's always a reason, we cannot control
We're placed in this life to love and console.
If we hate, deride, gossip and jeer
We are no better, but filled with fear.

And with compassion the suffering will ease
Then you might be God's beacon to please
Those less fortunate, without understanding
Whose lives are not smooth and very demanding.

For whatever reason we're dealt a hard blow
In Christ we are born and in Christ we will go.
There are many roads that we might choose
Many ideas we are given to use.

Each have a purpose, an end result
To live in harmony without measure or fault.
The remedy is simple.....to find the clue,
Is to live each day as Christ would do.

Don't judge or feel that you know more
Then all those you have met before.
For in God's eyes we're all equal, you know
And come to this earth to reap and to sow.

So we might evolve in purer light
To serve and to learn in His great Might.
Sometimes we forget, so we must control
All actions that darken the pure soul.

We cannot change what God gave to us
By creating panic, harming or in fuss.
But by walking in love and lending an ear
Dispelling the myths, the legends and fear.

To help each other with love, without charge
To indulge in His glory at home and at large.
We all chose to live - may you try your best
And allow the Divine to aid with the rest.

In soul we are gentle, no ego to bare
And come with a passion to love and to share.
The material pleasures we love and gain
Are only here to keep us all sane.

We leave as we came - in spirit not flesh
And behind, an impression to those we enmesh.
Just speak to Our Father. In Him believe
So He might grant the strength you will need.
