"Watching The Sky"
The sky never ceases to fascinate me.
Its beauty unfolds in each day I see.
A palette of colours splashed brightly and bold,
Reflecting on clouds as their patterns unfold.
The weather, the master of each passing day,
Above us the outcome of what it will say.
The passion of storm, the sky its command.
Or bright summer blue reflecting on land.
Perhaps a wind that whips the clouds by,
Or rainbows of colours arching up high.
Not forgetting the ink black of night,
The beauty of stars that sparkle so bright.
The rain that bulges the dark heavy clouds,
A sun that glows upon all that it shrouds.
A sky that suggests a winter is near,
Or thunder and lightning instilling a fear.
There's never a day that I let go by,
Where I have not blessed a beautiful sky.
