This Journey
we travel through life wondering where it will take us what surprises it may offer will we laugh or cry it is not an easy journey it is not always a nice one this journey we call life has its own agenda the traumas the abuse the fears the terrors are there they mold us they teach us they offer the means to grow the people who pass through all leave their mark this journey we call life has its own agenda we place trust in some we place hopes in others the true ones stay the others pass on by but we grow sometimes we go on other times we stay the confusion stays this journey we call life has its own agenda however this life may turn out depends on what we learn what we perceive what we understand but learn we will do or not we fail to learn from fear of life the unwillingness to go forward this journey we call life has its own agenda sometimes there will be a block in our lives to keep us back holding us from advancing out of fear themselves their own growth for some the fear of the unknown is greater than the experience this journey we call life has its own agenda growth becomes stuck advancement never takes place growth stops we must take the steps needed to seek to experience in order to grow choices are always ours to make to stay or proceed to grow or not this journey we call life has its own agenda Vote for this poem
