Remembering

Photobucket
sometimes life is a lonely road to travel with no one there to help
with no parents or siblings to share your problems or happiness with
times you begin to appreciate them more showing what could have been
remembering all the times you could have made a difference

growing up where differences showed becoming independent of them
also led to a wide chasm between all that grew till they became strangers
lives becoming further apart till they no longer were a part of your world
remembering all the times you could have made a difference

then one day all changed they began to die off all so young and vibrant
you found yourself really alone because now all are gone you are the survivor
tears fall as you realize you can no longer talk to them or even say im sorry
remembering all the times you could have made a difference

the words i love you never entered your head when they were alive and there
they are now gone you are still here knowing there will never be another chance
a chance to say im sorry...a chance to say i love you....all are gone
remembering all the times you could have made a difference
