Source of a Plea
Turn unto me Your ear O Lord,
For something I need to be cured;
Because I am needy and poor,
And my direction is unsure.
For I am faithful onto You,
Each and every day through;
Save Your servant who puts his trust,
Into You instead of a lust.
Have pity on me O my God,
Even though that I might be flawed;
For I call to You all day long,
Since the agony does prolong.
Please give me joy of salvation,
Before the great Tribulation;
For I lift my soul up to You,
So I may live in Your virtue.
You are good and are forgiving,
The one true God that is living;
Having grace for everyone,
And showing mercy through your Son.
Open Your ears onto my prayer,
To the torment I want to share;
And pay attention to my plea,
For giving mercy upon me.
