May Grace Rain Down On You
The need is great, desperate becomes
A call for rescue, all heard by one
Who knows what ails in everyone
Take heart and know it shall be done
Yet before you cried out to
Did you give thanks to Him who drew
Water from tap to saturate
Food from His fields upon your plate
The cries of many will ring today
Throughout all time as yesterday
We take not give yet still His grace
Stretches the arms that took our place
Imagine if there never was
A man, The GOD who fought our cause
Who still has faith in you and I
Who died a death some still deny
Imagine you who thinks they hold
The answers to what saves your soul
A mess you'd make as you have done
Most of your life, that's everyone
May grace rain down on you today
As He has done since your birthday
For without Him we all would fail
In life, in death, CHRIST some won't hail
