The Lighthouse Is Lighting My Way
Jesus is my lighthouse,My Savior and My Friend
My life was a shipwreck until I surrendered to Him
Shining a light to show me His plan and way
Changing the storms into messages shared today
Now when storms come,there's a blessing in each one
For He'll turn into good what the devil meant for my harm
Daily my spirit bears witness that He dwells in me
My protector and my deliverer on life's stormy seas
He is the light that guides me daily to see
Though my ship be tossed about no longer shipwrecked I'll be
For it's the river of life that I am now sailing on
Being washed by His word floods my spirit within
Causing His living water to pour out again and again
Beckoning others that are shipwrecked to seek the light for them
Yet many choose to remain in darkness off course thru life
Instead of using His light the blind are leading the blind
Seeking not the lighthouse to guide their ship thru the storm
Until total darkness overtakes them to the point of no return
Your word sheds light on both the helm and stern
It's a manual to guide our ship to study and learn
I pray these words and song will minister to a heart
Without Jesus being your lighthouse you'll remain in the dark
For His word is the river of life He wants to impart
Jesus wants to be your lighthouse to keep your ship from harm
He is my lighthouse and my only source
His word is guiding me and keeping me on course
The ways of the world almost caused me to crash and burn
But Glory be to God that is my Captain in every storm

I pray all will know that Israel is God's first chosen,
gentiles were grafted in,
so if He would blind the eyes of His first chosen
for not listening to His word "Jesus"
how easily it would be for any of us to be removed
and it is only for a time gentiles will be at the fullness
before salvation offered is cut off.
So I plead all will see and hear...
"Today is the day, that let them that have eyes see
and them that have ears hear what
the spirit is saying unto the church."

8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind:
the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down:
the LORD loveth the righteous:

18 Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see!
19 Who is blind but My servant [Israel]?
Or deaf like My messenger whom I send?
Who is blind like the one who is at peace
with Me [who has been admitted to covenant
relationship with Me]?
Yes, who is blind like the Lord's servant?
20 You have seen many things,
but you do not observe or apprehend their
true meaning. His ears are open, but he hears not!
21 It was the Lord's pleasure for His righteousness'
sake [in accordance with a steadfast and
consistent purpose] to magnify instruction
and revelation and glorify them.
22 But this is a people robbed and plundered;
they are all of them snared in holes and hidden
in houses of bondage. They have become a prey,
with no one to deliver them, a spoil,
with no one to say, Restore them!
[This shows the condition that will ensue as
Israel's punishment for not recognizing the
Servant of the Lord and the day of His visit

41 And as He approached, He saw the city,
and He wept [a]audibly] over it,
42 Exclaiming, Would that you had known personally,
even at least in this your day, the things that make for
peace (for b]freedom from all the distresses that are
experienced as the result of sin and upon which
your peace--your c]security, safety, prosperity,
and happiness--depends)! But now they are
hidden from your eyes.
43 For a time is coming upon you when your
enemies will throw up a d]bank [with pointed stakes]
about you and surround you and shut you in on every side.
A) 44 And they will dash you down to the ground,
you [Jerusalem] and your children within you;
and they will not leave in you one stone upon another,
[all] because you did not come progressively to
recognize and know and understand
