A legal lynching in the devil's court
Not by a jury of peers
But by those who have been ruled by fear
those who have been steered
Minds manipulated
Because to the cause
Of his Lord and people
He never capitulated
Abandoned in an amerikkkan dungeon
Where the devil penalizes those who break his rules
Memories of the past loom large
Still, the Imam looks forward to the future
Because he knows that Allah is in charge
Still undaunted and unbound
Lord knows he has paid some dues
He makes du'a to Allah
He ain't singing no jail house blues
The Free life lies ahead
The penalty for being Muslim
Bright, bold and brave...
No phone calls
No human contact
Confined in a steel grave
Victimized by an unjust society
This world is a prison for the believer
Enough to make fake Imams quiver
At the thought of being
Entombed alive in concrete
Imam Jamil indeed one of our best
O Allah, deliver him from Pharaoh's prison
