THE REFLECTION OF A TORTURED SOUL

sparkle
Seeking Freedom

So much pain sticking to me like glue,
Like a parasitic beast,
What do I do?
Draining me of energy,
My light begins to fade,
Through this hell-hole of life, everyday I must wade.

No let up, no rest,
I'm back in the ring
Knocked out to a countdown, my ears begin to ring.

Lying in a haze, eyes heavy, breath weak,
Remove me from this misery, this curse called life,
Pumping my veins with its misery and strife.

I close my eyes,
Inhale and stop!!
No exhale...
No misery...
Just......

FREEDOM!!!

(Readers, now please close your eyes inhale and stop!
Whilst in this moment let your senses take in the complete sense of peacefulness
Hear the beating of your heart...)
