On The Outside Looking In 
Why is she in the darkness all by herself
Is there something she's avoiding inside of there
Could it be a relative or sitter causing her dispair
Perhaps she waits for someone she knows truly cares
I look at this little girl on the outside looking in
Perhaps many of us have felt this emotion within
Some suffer other onset diagnosis from their past
While others will continue on hoping it won't last
Deep is the wounds of some words left unspoken
They lay inside brewing as one remains broken
True healing can only come when they're let out in the open
Easier said than done when you trust in next to no one
Yet each individaul has the choice to pick and choose
Their hurts can be mended after any known abuse
But unless it is poured out to a friend and or confidant
There's no chance of healing if the secret lays dormant
Oh you can push it down so deep you think it's gone
But it will rear it's ugly head when anything goes wrong
For most emotions are deep seeded anger inside
That has indirectly caused your overall look on life
It's so sad to feel helpless against one you should trust
Yet it happens everyday in every nation by sinful lust
The predators don't care whose lives they might ruin
It's all about their own satisfaction they're pursuing
I too was a victim of this God forsaken crime
My healing come from Jesus the one I can trust at all times
I know when I hear things like this the memories creep in
Quickly I think on Jesus of how He restored me from being broken
As humble as this child I go to Him on bended knees
Asking for His advice to help set others free
Our wounds can be destructive if help we don't seek
Through the world's system however I could not get relief
Yes it was my Jesus that healed me inside out
His love now overflows and I trust Him without a doubt
Some think they can overcome by throwing themselves into things
But I am here to tell you only Jesus can truly mend
I share this message for all that's been abused
But only from a woman's viewpoint I can relate to you
For I know the effects and defects it had caused me
By the loving arms of Jesus was manifestation of healing
The devil is so sly in making you think it's alright
Many have come close to ending their own life
But Jesus came to heal the brokeness you feel
As I have overcome by submitting to Him my will
Just because you get older doesn't mean it will go away
These deep seeded emotions will haunt you many of days
So take my advice I beg abuse victims all to know
Jesus Christ came to bring victory to every hurting soul
