Part Two
~ Lust ~
Lust is for but the moment
Love last forever
or so the story is told.
As I said before it is such
a fine line between
and therefore is often mistaken
Lust is like that roaring lion
seeking a lioness
The inner driving hunger
needing to be fed
Appealing to the eye and senses
with no real concern or interest
of what really lies within
The driving need of instant gratification.
Living for the moment
with no thoughts of tomorrow
or connection of hearts
Not saying this is a one time occurrence
only that is but a physical connection
without commitment
They meet
They share physical love
They go their separate ways
For men I can not speak,
but for women this is a very dangerous
path to walk.
We are filled with emotions
of which many are involuntary
When that sacred union between
man and woman is shared,
for a woman,
love at one point will enter
and to indulge in lust
prior to walking the path of love
the result can and most likely
will be tragic.
Lust is purely physical
lasting for the moment
Love is the physical mixed with emotional
with the intentions of lasting forever.
Our bodies are a gift from God
and should be treasured
But
A beautiful body can be so misleading
and is nothing more than the wrapping
of the true package,
and not necessairly a true reflection,
of what lies within
An example of this that I have used is...
You take a rattlesnake
(the heart)
put it in a box
wrap it in beautiful paper and bows
(the human body)
But when the beautiful wrappings
are removed
and you finally lift the lid to the box
what have you got
but a rattlesnake
It is human nature
the physical is what gets noticed
but before you act upon what
the eye/brain tells you
explore both hearts first
When love is mixed with lust
it is ecstasy
But
when lust is mistaken for love
it can be deadly.
