Constancy and Perseverance
You can receive your source of strength,
For persevering to any length;
In the kindness of Jesus Christ,
And no longer to be enticed.
You heard the message as confirmed,
By witnesses that reaffirmed;
Entrusted by faithful people,
Of the message in the Gospel.
So you need to go and proclaim,
Teaching other people the same;
Everything that God can do,
Each and every day through.
With God all things are possible,
That will make you so capable;
For accomplishing anything,
From all of His blessings will bring.
So if we have died within Him,
Then we should not be feeling grim;
And never to be feeling sad,
Rather always be feeling glad.
If we endure then we shall rule,
Next to Christ and not be a fool;
Like the unfaithful whose treasure,
Is only in his earthly pleasure.
