Ode to the USAF Crews of the Texas Towers
USAF Texas Towers, sententials of early alert,
beacons of freedom during the cold war.
Off shore in deep dark waters they stood.
Manned by a fearless Air Force Crew,
whose dedication to country and freedom
to this day still rings true.
Young men in Air Force Blue,
Who stood tall when faced with
giving their all.
May their memories forever be…
for they were men in Air Force Blue,
who protected freedom for me and you.
And may their Spirits soar with eagles
forever more.
Dedicated to all the men that lost their live on
Texas Tower #4 which was destroyed by a
winter storm on January , 15, 1961.
