Precious heavenly Father... forgive me this day
For I have truly fallen short of your glory
For your word says I'm not to be offended
And in all things give thanks for your glory's intended
How could I forget the devil's inventions?
Causing chaos in our lives is His only intention!
Through lack of sleep he's attempting to steal my joy
Which is my strength to conquer I must employ
Many people think a minister doesn't have trials
On the contrary we're more targeted by the devil's wiles
For our heart's desire is to gather lost souls
To share the love of God that they may be made whole
My prayer today is for a heart with more thanksgiving
No matter what the enemy and his forces are sending
For I know....Greater is He that is in me...
Than he that's in the world is the enemy
It is a heart of thanksgiving that shall overcome
And for your many blessings I thank-you for each one
I humbly ask for forgiveness in whatever I lack
I pray the fulness of your joy you'll restore back
For I do know the joy of the Lord is my strength
And if my joy is full I can conquer anything
With that said I'm thankful for your mercy and grace
Precious Holy Spirit you're forever welcome in this place
Remind me instead of running to the phone
To run to the throne when I'm concerned for someone
To trust only in you to get the job done
For my way once again has caused my heart to be broken
Take my wounded heart and mend it again
Forgiveness I speak out until it manifest within
Come quickly Lord Jesus for I'm so homesick today
Restore my joy and strength to press on until that blessed day
All honor,praise and glory I give unto my God
Fill me up through your power on the enemy to trod
Daily remind me to have a heart of thanksgiving
With joy unspeakable and full of glory I now reclaim

My heart's desire is to be more like Jesus
and never allow myself to be tangled up
in the world system.
My healing journey began thru poetry

that they will not be given a chance to fester and grow

My precious Jesus,forgive me if I have offended anyone or
words I have spoken has injured a heart in anyway.I pray
that you put a guard over my mouth and remind me daily...
YOU are the ONLY one I should Trust in and go to when
I am concerned for a loved one that I too will not fall short
of my calling and to do what you have called me to do.
Know my heart Oh Lord...let the stumbling blocks put
before me be stepping stones to reach others for your kingdom.
