His mercy and His Love
I admit that acts of mercy,
That the Lord has fallen on me;
Because of His loving kindness,
Has bestowed so much blessedness.
For I do not truly deserve,
Because of many times I swerve;
Finding myself going astray,
And lured as being sinful prey.
The praises I sing to the Lord,
Is for the grace that He outpoured;
Anointing like oil to bless,
When I have made my life a mess.
In His love and His compassion,
The Lord did not try to ration;
The forgiveness when I confessed,
And giving comfort as He blest.
He is like a shepherd to me,
In guiding when I cannot see;
When I am out roaming around,
The Lord searches till I am found.
For the Lord knows of my true worth,
More than anything on earth;
Ensuring that I will be saved,
And not allowed to be enslaved.
