Poetic Verses
Living Hell
Whereas thought came amid the dim of light
where shadows crept upon the floor and wall;
aloud my conscience pierced silence of night
in the mourning state of lamenting pall
Slip away o' prudence in quiet awe
with possibility like grains of sand
The opportunity that I once saw
sifting through the raw fingers of my hand
Succumbed to darkness haunting like the dead
echoes defeat to my scathed esteem lost
Given to worry, misfortune and dread
my hope to the deep dark sea has been tossed
Awaken and hark, some good news foretell
Raise me to the light from this living hell
