There was a man name Saul on the road to Damascus
Which was suddenly blinded by the Lord Jesus
He asked him ; Saul, why doth thou persecute me?
Saul was strickened with fear for he could not see
Saul had thought it pleasure up until then
To search and seek out and murder christians
His soldiers had to help him the rest of the way
Aninias a disciple of God was sent on the third day
Upon healing his eyes Saul's life took a drastic change
For He was filled with the Holy Ghost and Paul he became
This man renamed Paul began to preach the good news
Many were still untrusting by his change of point of views
For they remembered him when he was Saul
But finally many would trust him as he preached near and far
A mighty man of God became the Apostle Paul
Many books in the New Testament he penned from God
Some roads we take may lead to salvation
Yet other roads can lead to destruction and abomination
Many are walking in blindness for they're being deceived
As their words and deeds are exalting the enemy
All words that bring life come from God
Words of death are a curse from Beelzebub
Death and life is in the power of our tongue
We're told to take our thoughts captive each and everyone
Unforgiveness is a bitter poison used to kill
On this act alone many souls he will steal
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
And... as a man speaketh... so is he
Every idle word we will be held accountable for
Is your conversations pleasing unto the Lord?
Vengeance is mine saith the Lord to all man
God alone is the judge for it is written
Therefore we are told to mark those that cause division
To go forth to carry out God's purpose and mission
For it is up to each one to work out their own salvation
Lest we be found guilty of anything that's an abomination
Paul wrote to the church in Corinth about this
My own Mama told me you are who you run with
Ye shall know them by the fruit that they bear
Choose your friends wisely lest you fall into the devil's snare

In Acts 9:1-31
(You can read this story of Saul renamed Paul)
This poem was given me wee hours this morning.
I didn't have any idea where it was going
But I hope all that read it will be enlightened
to what it is showing.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Phil.2:5-8
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation,
and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man,
he humbled himself, and became obedient
unto death, even the death of the cross.
1 Peter 1:13-16
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind,
be sober, and hope to the end for the grace
that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves
according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy,
so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Samuel 15:22-23
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt
offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD,
he hath also rejected thee from being king.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6
(In layman terms, fight your battles on your
knees and with the WORD of God)
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing
that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience,
when your obedience is fulfilled.
Eph.4:17-24
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord,
that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk,
in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened,
being alienated from the life of God through the
ignorance that is in them,
because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over
unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him,
and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation
the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man,
which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.
Prov.20:22
Say not thou, I will recompense evil ;
but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
Heb.10:30
For we know him that hath said,
Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,
saith the Lord.And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
