The Principals of Love and Lust
Part Four
~ That Endless Quest ~
Living in a world
where love is always
tattered and torn
one would think the quest
should be abandoned.
But to give up would be
accepting defeat
and a life of loneliness.
For the weak of heart that
may be ok, but for those
who have tasted the sweet
nectar (even if only on the side
of giving) know how
wonderful it can be.
To be in love is wonderful
but divine to be loved in return.
(this I can only imagine)
That endless search
is path we have all walked
for some
it is short
for some
it is never ending.
Love is a deep inner driving force
within us all.. Much greater
and stronger than that of lust.
Lust is but for the moment...
Love is forever...
As I said before I know
God made a mate for every soul.
We were put here
to seek and find happiness
Through the trials of love
while we must feel with our hearts
we must also listen to our minds.
Hearts do not reason
they just go with the emotion.
In your quest
You walk down a path of total uncertainty
Not really sure exactly where it began
and certainly not sure of where it will lead.
But you venture on...
You must...
Your heart has to be
open, honest, giving and readily accepting
You must examine the contents
of both hearts.
As this song says
Its the little things
that make a difference
it's the Quest for Love
that brings us life.
Start by looking for your
bestest buddy.
Can you be deceived?
Of course...
Is it worth the risk
You Betcha!!!
Don't let a once broken heart
stop your quest
You may stumble
You may even fall flat on your face
Lick your wounds
Pick yourself up
Dust yourself off
and continue on
When you find that special someone
the journey will be worth
