Oh! I did enjoy the snow that we had
For not everything about it was bad,
My daughter Jen, Mega and little Bradley
Donned their hat, scarves and gloves and called for me.
I put on my coat and gloves and went to play
No time to waste we started straight away,
And so our few hours of fun began
As we started to build our snowman.
We made his body quite big and round
Then some sticks for his arms we found,
We gave him eyebrows, eyes and a nose
Then some nice shiny blue buttons we chose.
When all was done we had a snowball fight
Bradley got me each time much to his delight,
We did nothing but laugh that`s for sure
We played until we could play no more.
So the snow brought with it laughter and joy
That old and young alike could enjoy,
In this day`s fun I was glad I played a part
As deep down inside I`m just a kid at heart.
My Son Andrew, Kieran and Rebecca too
Built a snowman that just grew and grew,
In their back garden is where he stood
Tall and smiling he looks real good.
