Imitating God
Imitate God as His child,
Not like one that just runs wild;
Living in love the same as Christ,
Willingly to be sacrificed.
A soothing aroma to God,
When you freely honor and laud;
And that you are willing to share,
Glorifying as you declare.
So do not let sexual sin,
Trying to corrupt you within;
Nor perversion of any kind,
That would try to control your mind.
It is not right of dirty talk,
Does block the light from where you walk;
Like those pictures which are obscene,
Will never let your eyes be clean.
Do not let anyone deceive,
Of what you truly do believe;
That would cause you to disobey,
And making you to go astray.
Rather go give thanks to the Lord,
Not letting His work be ignored;
Giving thanks for what He has done,
Especially giving of His Son.
