'SONG OF THE DESERT'

Across the hot desert sands her song
rings out
Carried in torrent winds with an
errie shout
Raging with fiery power across
barren land
While vultures await prey in
smoldering sand

Not until coolness of night does she
murmur low
When all is still with gentle winds
that blow
The quiet of night turns it into a
lovely tune
As calls of mating echoes under a
clear moon

She lays rest to thundering skies
for awhile
Before rising again when the sun
runs her wild
The desert song will live on with
fire and ice
Listen carefully to know which way
rolls the dice
