Joy's Terse Verse
We Gather Bits!
We gather bits of everything
From all the times we chat -
And lose a few of worn out thoughts
As all the new come back!
And often when we trial a view
And bat it hard with care -
We split it up and twist it round
And punch it firm with dare!
The time flies by without a hitch-
Without a storm or more -
And leaves us - then - with extra thoughts
We simply can't ignore!
