ROCKY  MOUNTAIN  HOME

THERE'S A CABIN, BY A STREAM IN THE ROCKIES.
THE FOREST IS AWAKENING TO THE SPRING

THE SNOW IS SLOWLY MELTING
AND BIRDS ARE STARTING TO SING

SMOKE IS CURLING FROM THE CHIMNEY
ON THE PORCH THERE IS A SWING

THE STRUMMING OF A GUITAR IS HEARD
AS THE MOUNTAIN MAN STARTS TO SING

HE LOVES IT THERE THIS TIME OF YEAR
IT MAKES HIM FEEL LIKE A KING.

HE FEEDS THE BIRDS AND BUNNIES AND DEER,
WHO VISIT HIM EACH DAY

THEY'RE WOODLAND FRIENDS OF THIS KIND MAN,
HE HOPES THEY WILL ALWAYS STAY.
