They wonder why the world is bad
Many reasons now there be
But it doesnt help no way at all
With whats mostly on T V
Movies say all the time
Sex and violance bad language too
But you hardly ever hear them say
Peace n love and friendship true
You can turn on the T V anytime
And watch murder and crime galore
But you cant watch souls making love
And being nice to each other n more
They wonder why this worlds like it is
Young minds watch T V all the time
And slowly think thats it all OK
To grow in a world of violance and crime
Its almost advertising crime on T V
Almost a crime education on its own
And they wonder why I shake my head n sigh
And im sure Im not alone
