I Say!
I say that elephants -
And hippos will fly -
And that it will be proved
One day by and by!
I say that people
One day will grow wings -
Stop killing each other
And other good things!
I say religion and myth -
Will meet and agree -
And see they are one -
Just you wait and see!
I say that the cause
Of aging is meat -
And bread and potatoes
And coldness and heat!
I say that our brains
Are really just junk -
And only engage
And respond with a clunk!
I say that the stars
Hold creatures that fly -
And are purple and orange
And live on moon pie!
I say that our life
Is a wonderful dream -
With no beginning or end -
And without any seam!
I say that the world
Will forever go on -
And if you don't agree -
You must prove me wrong!
