My Ear Whisperer
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
So we may be of one accord;
I am waiting to hear Your voice,
So I am able to rejoice.
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
The only God I have adored;
So much love that you have embraced,
That helps me through things I have faced.
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
Without You I cannot afford;
Evil lurks wherever I go,
Trying to make temptations grow.
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
So I may be finally cured;
Of Satan luring me again,
Down the dark path where I have been.
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
And Your Word will not be ignored;
I promise to trust and obey,
Throughout each and every day.
Whisper into my ear O Lord,
To be certain of my reward;
Cleanse me inside by Your Spirit,
Prepared for what I inherit.
