valley of donegal
i saw bluebirds singing in the valley of donegal
singing there song of love in the season of the fall
i sat there and listened to there song so sweet.
hoping maybe one day me and love would meet.
i sat there for a while with teardrops in my eye
with there song so sweet it almost made me cry.
now ive found love and i always will recall
when i heard the blue birds sing in the valley of donegal
